SPIKE is a telescopic spike that can be infinitely adjusted between 21 cm and 76 cm.
Its carrying capacity is sufficient for the weight of F bass, C great bass recorders and F sub-bass recorders.
SPIKE was developed by Kunath Instrumentenbau. The specialist workshop for bass recorders and customised instrument adaptations.
This allows you to play F-bass recorders and great bass recorders while sitting or standing - without feeling the weight of the instrument. You just hold it in balance. That is much easier.
SPIKE is available in three different versions.
- SPIKE-6 suitable for Huber recorders
- SPIKE-10 suitable for Küng and Kunath bass recorders
- SPIKE-KGB suitable for Küng Superio great bass recorders
We can fit SPIKE to any bass recorder for you. Send us the foot joint of your bass recorder.
After a few days you will receive the foot joint back with a built-in threaded bushing.
