I received my overhauled recorder today: Unbelievable, phenomenal, pure enthusiasm about what has been achieved in the workshop! The very first play: that warm, slightly waxy feeling when you hold the flute in your hands! recorder in your hands! But the absolute madness is the sound - I was almost I was almost startled by the volume that my little flute produces! And not a trace of hoarseness at all! I really am completely thrilled! Hello to the Kunath team,

Now that I have had the recorders back for a while now, I would like to give you some feedback on the result. In short: I am completely satisfied.

There is no trace of damage to the block of Hans Conrad Fehr's tulipwood alto flute is no longer visible. The recorder sounds wonderful and responds excellently.

The Mollenhauer and Hohner alto flutes also have a beautiful sound and the sound, and with the Hohner the unpleasant noise is gone. The Mollenhauer Solist still doesn't want to play the high f, but as far as I've read in forums forums, this was probably still normal for recorders from this period, that they didn't necessarily that they didn't necessarily cover two full octaves. But it has a very beautiful warm, dark sound.

Also my old Moeck-Rottenburgh alto sounds much better and is finally less unruly on the high notes. no longer so unruly in the high notes. What surprised me most was the improvement in the Moeck soprano flute from the 50s (model I 58 in maple) - it has become a completely new instrument! maple) - it has become a completely new instrument!
